Therapy for Adult Individuals, Couples, and Families

I have been working in the field of mental health for over 30 years, and have been in private practice for the last 20 years. My background includes working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Specifically my work has been with adult individuals, couples and families. As a practitioner in private practice I work with high functioning, highly motivated clients who are looking for tools to better their lives and manage difficulties that arise. My style is interactive and goal focused. Clients report my ability to explain things and break problems down is one of the most helpful aspects of my therapy style. I believe in helping clients understand the process of therapy, so they can practice the skills long after the therapy is over. Much like a teacher of any kind my goal is to teach skills in a way that feels safe and free of judgment so they feel comfortable practicing them in session and then carrying those skills into their personal lives.

"The curious paradox is when I can accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

Carl Rogers
